ImageJOIN THE ANNAPURNA WORLD HARMONY TREK AND MAKE HISTORY

This is one of the most unique holiday adventures in the Nepali Himalayas organised by Freedom Adventure Treks and will happen for the first time ever: 15th October and then on the 20th November 2009, followed by the 1st March and 5th April 2010: Trek for adventure, peace and harmony


Bringing together many religions, cultural backgrounds, nationalities and races to trek through one of the most famous trekking trials in the world; The Annapurna Circuit. The trek starts at about 800m altitude in the sub-tropical zone and follows the Mersandi Valley until reaching Thorong La Pass at 5416m high. After the pass the walk goes through the Tibetan high plateau region which is the lower part of the Hidden Himalayan Kingdom of Mustang. Search for Triassic period fossils along the Kali Gandaki until passing through the deepest gorge in the world. Bathe in the hot springs for a few days rest and then continue on to walk through some of the largest rhododendron forests in Nepal.

Explore the geographical diversity and unique ethnic cultures of Nepal whilst sharing cultures and beliefs with each other. A chance to be an example that we can all live and travel harmoniously together.
During the trip we can do some community based environment work to protect the environment we travel through to create peace and harmony not only human to human, but human to nature as well.

The trek is designed for people that want a full cultural experience not only of Nepal but the chance to build an understanding of other cultures. It will offer opportunities to work with local communities in the environment, explore ancient temples/monasteries, cultural exchange, learning languages/customs etc.
