Mukti's hotmail account has been stolen by scammers, it seems, from Nigeria. If any of you have recieved emails that are from my muktivai@hotmail. com account saying that I am in Africa and need money, it is NOT true. I am safely in Australia with my family. I hope that the email has not caused anyone else any upset or inconvenience. It has been an awful week for me trying to contact everyone to let them know about the scam. I have lost all my contacts as I cannot access my account at all. Please let anyone who may know me know that the email is fake and is an awful, cruel and annoying scam. Kind regards Mukti Timilsina |

September
Freedom Adventure’s founder, Mukti Timilsina, successfully walked the world famous Great Ocean Road in Victoria to promote Nepal tourism and to raise money for the Puspa Raj Open Heart Appeal. It was 270 kilometres in 10 days with wonderful support along the way. |
Freedom Adventure treks had a Nepal Information display for the Great Victorian Bike Ride with over 9000 visitors camped on our doorstep in Camperdown, Australia. The display included Nepal trekking and mountain bike information, handicrafts, Nepal Tourism Board videos, slideshow and many wonderful photos. With a few thousand visitors coming to the display it was pleasing to have hundreds signing the visitor book and wanting to know more. Freedom Adventure family and visitors have distributed more than 2000 pens and pencils during their 7 day Poon Hill trek in 2004. The trekkers and staff have helped to clean the trail along the way by collecting rubbish which was then taken for recycling to Pokhara. Before distributing pens and pencils to local children we teach them about and get them involved in keeping their environment clean by picking up rubbish. The pens and pencils have been collected by Mukti Timilsina during his part time cleaning job in Australia at Camperdown College. |
