Freedom Adventure is a fully Nepalese owned company that was established in 2000 by a team of Nepalese male and female guides with many years of experience in trekking, rafting, jungle safari and climbing.

We are a fully government registered company and are an active member of the Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN)
Our team members are all fully trained and have the necessary qualifications in first aid, tour leading, rafting, jungle safari etc. We also speak a variety of languages: English, Japanese, German, French.
All members of our team are treated with equal respect and caring.

We use the best quality equipment and gear to make your journey comfortable and safe.

We enjoy taking visitors on traditional and non traditional treks and tours around Nepal. We also offer some unique combined tours and treks that include our close neighbours Tibet/China, Bhutan and Sikkim.
We specialise in customizing itineraries according to client interests.

Our aim is to provide unique touring and trekking experiences to our visitors whilst at the same time taking care of our country, environment, culture and the people of the areas we travel through.

Because we are locals, travelling with us creates opportunities for genuine cultural exchange and deeper understanding.
We believe in sustainable tourism and offer our visitors environmentally sensitive travel.  As part of our commitment to sustainable practices we have established ‘The Eagle’s Nest Environment Centre’ and do a variety of community based projects.

Freedom Adventure Treks is a model trekking company with the aim of demonstrating and practicing sustainable tourism.

Freedom Adventure Treks has its own porter protection policy: We are the only one's to have the one client one porter system  during teahouse treks and one client two porters for camping treks: We are the first company to provide bedding for porter shelters in the Annapurna region and we work with the lodge management community to ensure that any porter does not have to sleep in a cave or under a tree at high altitude

7. We are the first trekking company to have a policy of fair pay to local business, as well as supporting and promoting local producers: eg: handicraft centres at an international level. 
   

One of our senior trekking leaders now travels between Nepal and Australia and is based in Victoria when he is there. He is happy to provide free information sessions in your own home or clubrooms, as well as assist with itineraries, bookings etc.
